Hi! My name is Congcong Miao. I received my Ph.D. in Geography from the University of Connecticut, specializing in Geographic Information Science, Spatial Data Science, and Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI).

My research advances GeoAI by integrating geographic knowledge and spatial reasoning into artificial intelligence, while applying these approaches to understand human behavior. I develop computational methods that capture spatiotemporal dynamics, incorporate human perceptions, and enhance model transparency through explainable AI.

My work is primarily situated in transportation systems, with broader implications for urban planning, public health, and data-driven policy.
